A Gathering of the Clans
Formed
in 1985 the society has now become well established and has its annual event
at Flempton Golf Club. This is a charming nine hole course in the heart of
Suffolk which recently celebrated its hundredth anniversary. It is situated
only a few miles from Bury golf course where, in the mid twenties, the Tilbrook
addiction to golf began. The TGS is very proud of the fact that this rather
private little club now accepts this gathering of the clans as a bona fide
society fixture. The object of the club is to unite all members of the Tilbrook
family of either sex. With a younger generation growing up the ages range
from fifteen to eighty. The number of competitors is growing and now approaches
twenty.
