In 1977, Jubilee year, Richard spent a year photographing the people and the daily life of his native village. Now, twenty six years on, these pictures have become an historic record of a way of life that has changed and is changing ever faster. In 2002, at the time of the Golden Jubilee, the whole village turned out to be filmed by Anglia tv who made a fascinating but nostalgic, short documentary.
